Bleacher Report has updated its Team Stream HD app with full iPad support. The app is kind of like Flipboard for sports enthusiasts. It allows you to create a custom news feed full of the sports and teams you like (and even WWE news, for those of you that enjoy "sports entertainment"). I've spent a few hours with the app and love what it does. I just wish it did it better. Read on for more details.

Invoxia's NVX 610 is a Powerful and Versatile iOS VoIP Accessory
One of the most impressive iPad and iPhone accessories I saw at CES was Invoxia's NVX 610. This unique product offers voice-over-IP calling, a corporate-quality speakerphone, and great speakers for music playback. It's a beautiful device -- one of the few third-party accessories that could pass for an Apple product -- and works very well from what I was shown. However, it's easy to mistake the NVX 610 for something that it's not. Read on for some original pictures, details, and first impressions of the NVX 610.
Razer Project Fiona Hands-On Preview
Razer made quite a splash at CES 2012 with Project Fiona, a high-end gaming tablet featuring an Intel i7 processor, Windows operating system, and unique controller wings. Be sure to read my Project Fiona reveal story for details on this tablet. Right now I'm going to give you some hands-on impressions of the device, additional details from spending time Razer project evangelist Hilmar Hahn, and original photos of Project Fiona.
Samsung Galaxy Note (AT&T) Hands-On Preview
Samsung was showing off the Galaxy Note for AT&T at Pepcom's Digital Experience event last night. Referred to by many as a "Phablet", the Galaxy Note packs a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED Screen. Unusually, it's bigger than most phones and smaller than most tablets. The idea is that this product will offer the best of both worlds. An international GSM version has been available since October 2011. Samsung is partnering with AT&T to bring the Galaxy Note to America in the near future. Read on for specs, hands-on impressions, and original photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note for AT&T.
First Look: Skitch for iPad
Skitch is one of my favorite apps for Mac OS and Android. It's fantastic for adding annotations to screen shots, clearing up directions on maps, and making photos goofy. In the words of the developer it lets you, "Use shapes, arrows, sketches and text annotation to get your point across fast. Mark up photos, screenshots, maps, and webpages then share them with anyone you like." Thankfully, Skitch is now available for iPad. Here's a quick look at this fine app.
First Look: Google Currents
Google recently released Google Currents for Android and iOS. In many ways, this news-curation app is similar to the outstanding Flipboard. In some ways, it's very different. Google Currents is off to a fantastic start, but its lack of social features -- especially the lack of deep Google+ integration -- is puzzling. Check out my first impressions and several screens of Google Currents.
First Look: My Xbox Live for iPad
Microsoft recently released the My Xbox Live app for iOS, which allows Xbox 360 gamers to access their Xbox Live accounts on their iPads and iPhones. The app lets gamers view videos and news on the latest Xbox 360 happenings, browse through their games and achievements, and interact with their Xbox Live friends. While two of those three features aren't that big of a deal, the app shines as a mobile social-networking extension of Xbox Live. Read on for some impressions and screens.
Gmail for iPad Preview
After stumbling out of the gate and getting pulled, the official Gmail app for iOS is back. I've been playing with it on my iPad for the last hour and really like a lot of its features, but as a Gmail power user I'm somewhat disappointed. Read on for my first impressions.
First Look: Facebook for iPad
The official Facebook app for iPad is finally out! Padvance will have a full review in a couple of days. For now, check out these screens and initial impressions.
Disney Appmates Hands-On Preview
Ask any iPad-owning parent, and they'll tell you kids today have developed a natural affinity for the iPad. Something about the super-simple touch interface connects kids to these devices instantly. Disney, which has always made technology seem magical, is creating a brand-new iPad interface called Appmates, which will let kids control a Cars-themed iPad game using actual toys.
Updated: Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Hands-On Preview
The makers of the weird, beautiful game Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery have just announced that the iPad version of the game has been approved by Apple and will be released on Thursday, March 24. The iPhone version will be available next month. To hold you over until then, check out our coverage of the game below!
Glu's Freemium Line-Up: Gangstas, Assassins, and Bugs
Developer Glu has a new line-up of freemium games scheduled to be released in the coming months, and we went hands-on with three of them. One is about a gang turf war, one is about assassination, and one is about cartoon bugs. All will be universal apps and will be free to download. Read on for the details.
Blackstar Hands-On Preview
Pocket Legends, Spacetime Studio's flagship title, had a lengthy development time for an iOS game-- well over a year. But Blackstar, their next MMORPG, has been in development since 2005. It started as a PC project, but after NCSoft canceled it, the ambitious sci-fi epic was shelved, until now.
Prison Mayhem Hands-On Preview
We've seen Diner Dash-style games set in a variety of places, from a Zombie Cafe to the Star Wars Cantina, but this is the first time we've seen one set in a prison. Developer 99Games is working on a sim that puts you in the shoes of a warden named Bluto who's responsible for administering justice to the criminals of the world.
Gears Hands-On Preview
Gears is a departure for Crescent Moon Games, a company known for developing and publishing ambitious RPGs. Those RPGs (Ravensword, Rimelands, and Aralon) happen to be some of the best on the iPhone, so we're always excited to hear they have a new game in the works.
Panopticon iPad Hands-On Preview
The Panopticon, in the historical sense, is the basis for all our modern prisons. A wide ring with the prison guards in the middle, the Panopticon design gives prisoners a feeling of being watched and under total control. So it makes sense that if you design an all-powerful world computer and call it the Panopticon, it's going to become self-aware and enslave humanity.
Aralon: Sword and Shadow Trailer and Screenshots Released
The first trailer for Aralon: Sword and Shadow has hit the Internet, and it's a beauty. Aralon is an upcoming 3D RPG from the makers of Ravensword: The Fallen King and Rimelands: Hammer of Thor. Since those successful RPGs will be the basis of comparison, Aralon has a lot to live up to. But from the looks of it, it just might succeed.
